Christmas in Beeston

Here's me, my sister and one of her mates from the estate who just happened to be passing! Yep it's Christmas day and the local youths decorated their bus shelter, so I went up and got a pic of it. Quick fact, when I was about errm 12/13 ish me and my mate called Mossy once tore down that shelter and weighed it in for scrap! at that time it didn't have any perspex windows it was just a hollow shell. This Christmas the bus shelter kids have taken matters into their own hands and with a sense of pride (and probably petty theft to aquire the trimmings) they gave their own space a festive touch, which is actually quite admirable! Not that I want to hug a hoody or anything, but well done lads/lass's/staffy's.
Another drink fueled Christmas day for me which initially found me in a shed which has been turned into a bar, well! I say bar it's more a pub, it was fantastic, leather couch's the job lot. I managed to sink 3 in there before moving over to my mum and dads for the old lunch and more cans! I shut down about 4.30pm and have just found myself getting lively again. All in another classic Christmas, it's been like this every year and it's a day I can guarantee will never change format. Cheers....
