Just to show I'm not a real sour bastard, here's 4 good reasons why I thought 2007 was pretty sweet. In general (for me anyway) 2007 was a good year, we had our first Attila jam in Leeds, and designed a shit load of products for 08, I got to travel alot and only had to work a "proper" job for about 3 months out of the 12 which is pretty good going when your just scratching a living here and there. So here's my favourite things for 2007, you'l find in comparison to my "shite" post these are more personal, but I suppose they are going to be it's what made my year sweet:
Benson as a pup, and Ziggy

Benson:
In January last year me and the missus got another dog (we got our first pup "ziggy" the year before) he's a Staffordshire bull terrier and we call him Benson. We were initially really worried about getting a breed of dog like him because they are renowned for eating children and other dogs etc. We have quickly come to believe that if you bring any animal up to be a killer, well it's going to kill at short notice! So he's chilled, he's intelligent and obedient enjoys watching the footy (he chases the ball which is on the TV) and generally lives a dog's life. On the frontin' stem packaging James Cox used Benson's image in the design, which is so sick. Both dogs infact have made our lives a million times better, they are dope.
My fantasy football team, who are doing very well at the moment!
Football:
Ever since being a nipper I've always enjoyed football, but recently I've become totally fixated with it, the business, politics everything. Still not sure why, I think it has alot to do with Leeds United having a really bad time of it over the past few years, I've inadvertently resurrected my support for them by following their every move through League 1. They have recently had a bad few matches, but fingers crossed next season they will make a start back in the Championship. Football, when you get down to it really is a beautiful game and I can see myself engrossed it in further more as the years press on.

BMX:
Well, it's always going to be good isn't it! I've once again had the opportunity to travel so much this year thanks to riding, again meeting loads of amazing people and learned more about the industry. Being involved with Dig, 4Down, and getting to talk/work and ride for Robo at Fit has been like a childhood dream alongside meeting Mozza, Dean Hearne and Amos Burke too pure Last Resort good times. It's been a good year in the life of Attila too, an amazing jam in Leeds which turned out so sick, working with Mike Birch, Coxy and 4Down on the 08 parts range and pushing Attila as a brand, which lets face it was always just a mental hobby since 2002! I'm totally grateful for the opportunity's BMX has given me, all that from just having fun, learning half barspins out of a mud hump 10 years ago on a bike which can only be described as scrap metal. It's crazy what BMX can present to you and I fuckin love it, I can only imagine more good times to come.
Digitalism
Johann Sebastian Bach
Good Music:
Both music and BMX would probably be on this list every year if I did one! But another sweet year for me music wise, found a whole bunch of great bands I like (old and new) and even got fully into classical! Yeh might sound wild but classical music is so sick. I'm planning on going to Liverpool soon to be in the audience when Classic FM go there to host a program on the "capitol of culture 2008" so that should be amazing. My current favourite band is Digitalism and my current favourite composer is Johann Sebastian Bach, as usual it'l all probably change within a month but as it stands I can't get enough of either for totally different reasons. Coincidently both Digitalism and Bach are German!
