Another sterling night for British sport, although this time Ricky Hatton was out boxed in a 10th round defeat to Floyd Mayweather. I was up until 5.30 am listening to the live coverage and I even managed to bag a live stream (cheers Pat) of the fight online, it wasn't that great though, but still when I synced up with the radio commentary it was sound. It seemed Hatton came in just too quick, shorter, smaller reach and probably the fact he was fighting at a heavier weight cost him this bout. He did however have the biggest support base ever for a British fighter in the USA, check this pic! Leeds? ha
A sick night though, maybe he'l win the sports personality of the year award?
